I love these quickreader apps! Highly recommended!

I only wish had this when I was young. This take a great approach to reading and makes it better.

nice app for reading, and the choice of the books included is interesting. I also like the reading speed helper, for you (and not only young readers) improve your reading speede. definitely to have!

This app was pretty good until I upgrade it! Now , one icon is on top so it is not working correctly .

This is a great app for helping to build reading skills with the highlighting of each word. Love that you can set the speed of the highlight by wpm. This helps greatly for emergent readers and those with special needs. To be perfect, this app just needs a text to speech option!

This app has potential. I like the pasteboard feature so you can enter your own text. Speed of reading data is not helpful if it is not connected to a reading level. It would be nice if it was arranged by reading level. Using an on-line tool, I found that the ones I tested were between reading grade levels 6-9. You cant copy text so you can go on line and test the readability. The "Catalog" is blank.

Ive just started using this app this week and so far I love it. The speed-reading trainer alone would be worth the five bucks; the books included are a bonus worth another hundred. There must be fifty books, for young readers and adults. I love the control that the developers have given users. We can choose from an array of typefaces, font sizes, colors, highlights, guided reading, speed tests and more. I strongly recommend this app.

This app is really to help for increasing your reading speed , however, only one type of training for speed reading (shading)may be not sufficient to obtain this skill. Also, the app will not guid you, you do it yourself.

Nice basic product that does what it says. My 9 year old loves it and has quickly doubled his speed. The only thing I would like to see are a wider variety or current books. It has lots (really, a lot) of selections but many of the choices are of older English vocab, like Jules Vern era. Great stories but the English tends to trip up my son who is currently struggling with basic vocab. Theoretically I should be able to import some books. Havent tried that yet. All in all, a very good product.

this app is great. my kids enjoy it and they have begun reading more of the classics.

A large number of books for you. Well worth your time to check this out. I am very happy to have this on my iPod for my greatgrandkids!

I like this app. I love the options to customize your reading experience. However, I think it would be better if you could also test your comprehension and maybe even limit the testing to certain intervals, i.e. not more than once per week, to check your progress. Speed is nothing without comprehension. Overall, the app does what it advertises. I would like the instructions to upload books to be easier, or maybe include links to popular e-libraries. Im not quite sure how you would do that, but I use my local librarys digital site all the time. In the end, I would definitely recommend this app.

I bought both Quick Reader apps for the guided reading feature for my kids. I was disappointed to learn that neither app has the guided reading feature. You can adjust guided reading settings but still no guided reading. There isnt even an icon on the home page for it. Am I missing something or did I get suckered into buying the apps? Its a shame because I really think this could be a great app for helping struggling readers work their way up to speed reading.

This is a great app. Only 4 stars because you need to add the option to have the books read to you as you follow along with the highlighted words. This could really help children who struggle with reading speed.

This app has a list of books but no way to know which books are best for which age. Theres no index for the library to allow you to select by genre, fiction/non-fiction, age, grade, sex, reading level or other parameters that would be helpful in selecting a book. Therefore I found the app of little value in assisting young readers in selecting a book to read. If a child cant select a book, they wont read it. Too bad because the other capabilities look promising. The library is also limited and I didnt see a working method to download additional books. Improve these features and you would have a very good app.

Cannot select books based on age and selection is limited
